Meet the Radiant Yoga Team

Robin Adams

Owner of Radiant Yoga
E-RYT 500

I Began my practice in 2008 when my girls were little and quickly found a love for heated vinyasa. In 2013, I decided to pursue teacher training and my passion was completely lit up for the challenge, creativity and body and mind connection that yoga encompasses. My teaching style is both strong and playful. I love the connection created with each and every student, and that is what keeps me here! I hope to encourage and extend the longevity of the practice with intention on proper movement and alignment while also helping you find curiosity, whimsy, and lightheartedness in your own practice. I’m certified in yoga, Pilates, sculpt and fitness. Namaste!

Brad Turner

Owner of Radiant Yoga
RYT 200

A friend took me to a yoga class about 15 years ago, and I instantly fell in love with the practice. As a former gymnast, yoga synced well with the way I love to move and stretch. I felt better physically, but even more so mentally.

I’ve been a gymnastics coach for the last 35 years and currently own 3 gymnastics facilities in the DFW area. I have a passion for teaching and love passing knowledge on to others. My goal is for everyone to experience the benefits of a daily yoga practice, and I love working with our Rockwall community. I received my RYT-200 certification in 2020 and am currently finishing my RYT-500.

Michelle Collins

E-RYT 200

Hi, I’m Michelle, an E-RYT 200 Certified Yoga Instructor since 2016. I teach All Levels of Vinyasa from Gentle Yoga to Power Flow, Hatha, Restorative, as well as private/special event sessions. In addition to yoga, I also teach HIIT, Pilates, and Barre, but my true passion is yoga.

I started my practice because I enjoy the mindfulness, healing and the stress-relieving benefits of yoga, as well as increasing flexibility and muscle tone. After years of practice, I knew I wanted to share my passion for yoga with others. The highlight for me is reflecting on the breakthroughs and transformational growth that my students achieve. The friendships I have made through yoga have become very special to me and will no doubt last a lifetime.

Blessed beyond measure to have a wonderful and supportive husband, two handsome sons, and our dog Rocco. My husband and I love to travel, I enjoy cooking, baking, singing in our church worship team, taking walks with Rocco, and of course yoga. It is my desire to help others grow in their practice, sharing my heart and passion with them, to love, serve and inspire.

KARA HILL

RYT 200 | PY 85

Hey Y’all!  I’m Kara, and I am an RYT 200.  I completed my YTT in May of 2022, but I’ve been practicing yoga since 2010, and teaching since August of 2022.  What began as an hour a week of “me time” in 2010, became a personal transformation I didn’t see coming.  Since then, I have reaped the incredible benefits of a regular practice, and gained a passion to show others what is waiting for them if they are consistent in their own.

My husband Scott and I have 3 fun boys!  Our oldest studies business real estate at UTA, loves the intermural football team, and is an Eagle Scout!  Our younger 2 (high school and middle school) are both active with sports, baseball, band, and scouts, so we are constantly moving.  In my past life, I was an elementary music teacher (also graduated UTA – go Mavs!), and a middle school Science & Math teacher.  Currently, I LOVE music, Jeep life, and to indulge my crafty side frequently. I also love to spend time with friends and family – especially outdoors!

I consider myself a lifelong learner, particularly with yoga, and I spend some hours each week learning new things!  I’m so excited to be part of this Radiant team and continue this beautiful journey with everyone at the studio.

Robin Spear

RYT 200

I began my regular yoga practice in 2009, taking classes when I could as a busy mom  with 3 young children at home. Eventually, my consistent practice led to a deep appreciation for the many health benefits in the mental and physical body, including pain relief from incredible back pain. In 2020, I became a 200 hour RYT. I enjoy encouraging students to listen to their own body, achieve their personal yoga goals and focus on how postures feel in their individual yoga practice instead of pushing to achieve a perfect “pose.” Yoga is a journey and I learn something new every day. I believe a strong understanding of the fundamentals leads to a healthy lifestyle.

Megan Horton

Certified in yoga, vibrational sound therapy, meditation and mindfulness, and reiki.

I love breath work and enjoy offering unsolicited breathing technique suggestions to random people.

You are likely to find me barefoot at the lake, hugging trees in forests and parks, or cruising the neighborhood in the golf cart with my husband and daughter. I love what the mind and body can accomplish when it comes to emotional regulation and natural healing. Relaxing is one of my favorite things to do, so don’t expect to sweat in my classes!

Kaitlin Breuninger

E-RYT 200

I grew up in Santa Cruz, California where I trained as a competitive gymnast throughout my childhood and later coached gymnastics for 7 years. When I was in high school, shortly after I stopped competing in gymnastics, my best friend convinced me to take yoga classes at the local community college for elective credits and I’ve never looked back. 19 years of practice later, and I still discover something new every time I step foot on my mat.

In 2018, I moved to Santa Ynez, California and signed up for yoga teacher training as a way to make friends in a new town. Here, I rediscovered my love of teaching and shortly after I opened my very own yoga studio. I relocated to Texas in 2022 and am grateful to have quickly found a wonderful yoga community in Rockwall. As a yoga teacher, I hope to challenge you, encourage your curiosity, and inspire growth and progress in your own journey.

Dan Turner

I’ve been an athlete all my life with a passion for a variety of sports, chiefly baseball, softball, racquetball and golf. As I grew older, though, I began studying personal fitness and the importance of maintaining a healthy body through consistent exercise that keeps your muscles strong and your brain sharp. My philosophy has always been “use it or lose it”, and with a little effort and, I think, a lot of fun, we should still be moving and enjoying an active life well into our golden years.

After a short stint in the Navy, I taught high school math and coached young athletes, but made a change to hospital sales before returning to teaching until I retired in 2015. I have led a fitness class at our church for the last 12 years, primarily for the 55+ crowd to emphasize the importance of staying active. There are also many benefits and lots of joy to be found through enjoying the company of friends while you exercise together.

I have been married for 50+ years to my wife, Martha, and we have three children (yes, in case you were wondering, Brad is the oldest of those three), and seven grandchildren.

James Stringfellow

My journey into yoga began as a search for relief from the injuries I acquired through various activities. I had been focused on weightlifting, occasionally playing different sports, and sporadically attending yoga classes. After two years of weekly soccer games with my twin brother—during which I constantly dealt with sprains and injuries—his ACL tear made me reconsider my approach to fitness.

I decided to take advantage of an unlimited weekly special at a nearby yoga studio, attending 14 classes in one week. This experience marked the beginning of a deeper commitment to yoga, revealing benefits I hadn’t anticipated. Physically, my body started to recover, my allergies lessened, and I found myself stronger than when I was solely lifting weights. Mentally, yoga brought a sense of calm and acceptance into my work life, with breathwork playing a crucial role in managing anxiety and fostering self-acceptance.

As I continued to practice, my focus evolved. I began to emphasize personal breathing and presence within my daily life, and my Ashtanga practice led me toward a passion for inversions and hand balances. Yoga has been transformative for me, and I’m eager to share these benefits through my teaching.

Jennifer Cabrera

Hi! My name is Jennifer, and I've been teaching yoga since 2015. I completed teacher training in 2014 and became a certified prenatal yoga teacher in 2015 while pregnant with my second child. Last year I finished my training and became a certified personal trainer through NASM. I love teaching yoga and fitness, and I always enjoy a fun barre class. My goal is to make  yoga and fitness accessible to anyone. I do love a good challenge though, so come prepared to sweat and roll your eyes at some bad jokes. In my "free" time I'm a homeschool mom to three and I'm enjoying the challenge of learning Latin this year while simultaneously teaching a 5 year -old to read. I love learning new things and trying to incorporate that into my teaching and my own practice. I hope to see you soon in the studio.

Jules Tolleson

I have always had a passion for fitness and health.  I love to stay active and change it up with hiking, biking, in-line skating, paddle boarding, kick boxing.  When yoga found me, I knew this was so much more…

I had the privilege to be a stay at home mom. I raised two amazing children.  When, my youngest was a senior in HS, I knew it was time to do something for me.  I took the longest time ever away from my family and did 200 hour YTT in Cujoe Key, Florida for two weeks. Forever, changed my life.  Couldn’t get enough and immediately continued my training.

My passion and love for teaching yoga goes way beyond what I can describe in this bio. I will just highlight on how yoga is so much more than a work out and yes my classes are a work out.  Being a student for several years before becoming a teacher, I worked a lot out mentally on my mat.  It’s a practice. I love that! Watching my students grow not only physically but mentally at the same time warms my heart.  Being an athlete in HS and college, I had no idea that my core was weak. Yoga changed that for me. Take my classes and you will never feel core deprived.  I am so blessed and grateful to have the pleasure of being called a “yoga instructor.” Can not wait to see you on your mat. Namaste.
